Dental Fillings
Tooth-coloured fillings that treat decay and blend in with your natural teeth.

What's involved
We remove the decayed part of the tooth, clean the area, and fill it with a composite resin that's shaped and polished to match your bite and the colour of your surrounding teeth.
The whole thing is usually done under local anaesthetic in a single visit.
Looking after a filling
- Avoid very hard or sticky food on that tooth for the first 24 hours
- Some sensitivity to hot or cold is normal for a few days
- Keep up your normal brushing and flossing routine
Will it match my tooth colour?
Yes — composite resin is shade-matched to your existing teeth before we start, so it blends in rather than standing out.
How long do fillings last?
Composite fillings typically last 7–10 years with normal wear, longer with good oral hygiene.
